At the beginning of last year I started The Vintage Club, a new chapter in my career. After working in retail all my life, I thought it was time to start my own business.

Finally I could do something with my love for vintage clothing, because I always liked to go into town for that. Great for finding the most unique vintage items.

The year before the opening I started looking for and collecting clothes. I got those clothes from everywhere and they were also for all ages. This is how I made a nice selection for my webshop.

I also like to go to wholesalers to put together large volumes. I
I feel like a kid in a candy store when these are delivered to my home. Then it just seems like Christmas to me.

2023

I get a lot of energy from new sustainable projects. That's why I started the Vintage Reworks webshop this year (2023). Because I have close contact with wholesalers and other vintage stores, I have done research into how many items ultimately end up in the waste pile, for example due to a hole or stains in the item. These are super hip, beautiful items, so it would be a shame! That's why I want to give these items a third life, how nice is that? I want to continue optimizing and working towards a greener planet.
